Escape - Main Characters

Carolyn- Main Character, and Merril's 4th wife. Carolyn was married to Merril Jessop as an eighteen year old, and gave birth to 8 of his children, Arthur, Betty, LuAnne, Patrick, Andrew, Merrilee, Harrison & Bryson, in that order.

Merril- Merril was the man Carolyn married. He had a high influence in the community, and was abusive towards his family as of 2015, he has 22 wives, 2 being 16 years old.

Barbara- favorite wife of Merril, she was routinely taken with him on business trips, Ruth's sister.

Faunita- Merril's first wife, abandoned, and mother of 10 of his children.

Ruth- Mentally unstable wife, also abandoned, Barbara's sister.

Tammy- 5th wife of Merril, former wife of Uncle Roy

Cathleen- 6th wife of Merril, former wife of Uncle Roy, Carolyn's only 'friend' in the house

Lorraine- 7th wife of Merril.
